India shelters a variety of tourist places which are quite different and leave the visitors with a lasting experience. Presence of the diversity, vastness, culture, fauna & flora has made India a charming place to travel. For convenient and trouble-free travels, ministry of tourism has divided a number of tourist spots to various captivating tourist circuits. Some very popular tourist routes of India are:
Jaipur-Agra-Delhi: This most favored trip is also known as the Golden Triangle tour of north India which offers an opportunity to get acquainted with places like Red fort, Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate, Lotus temple, Akshardham, Qutub Minar etc in Delhi; Agra Fort, Taj-Mahal, Itmad-Ud-Dullah, Fatehpur Sikhi etc of Agra; and Jantar Mantar, City Palace, Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal etc in Jaipur.
Bikaner-Jaisalmer-Jodhpur: This travel route comprises of a stimulating camel safari and a visit to a number of tourist attractions like Umaid Bhawan Palace & Mehargarh Fort of Jodhpur, Jain Temples & Golden Fort of Jaisalmer and Lohagarh Palace & Junagarh Fort of Bikaner.
Puri-Konark-Bhubaneshwar: This route comprises of attractions like Sun temple of Konark, Jagannath Temple of Puri and Lingraj Temple of Bhubaneshwar and hence is rightly known as the Golden Triangle of eastern India.
Mahabalipuram –Kanchipuram-Chennai: This Golden Triangle tour of Tamil Nadu offers visit to State Legislative Hall, Fort St George, MGR Memorial, Marina Beach, St Mary’s Church (Chennai), Kailashnath Temple, Ekambareswara Temple, Kamakshi Amman Temple, Varadraja Temple (Kanchipuram) and Ganesh Ratha, Durga Niche, Varaha Mandapa, Krishna Mandapa, Valayankuttai Ratha,Gopi’s Chum, Kotikal Mandapa, Shore temple etc (Mahabalipuram).
Mysore-Hassan-Bangalore: This golden route of Karnataka gives an opportunity to visit places like Vidhan Soudha, Lal Bagh Gardens, Cubbon Park, Vishverairya Industrial & Technological Museum, ISKON Temple etc (Bangalore); Halebid & Belur (Hassan) and Mysore Palace, Brindavan Garden etc (Mysore).
Kumarakom-Alleppey-Kochi: This route provides an outstanding opportunity to experience the houseboat sail on the backwaters.
Ooty-Mysore-Bangalore: This travel offers the visit to these cities with some beautiful spice plantations of Ooty.
